Tampa Roller Derby will host our 3rd annual Skate-a-thon for charity on Sunday, April 28th. This year’s community charity will be Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough. (http://www.habitathillsborough.com/ ) The concept of Habitat for Humanity is that each Habitat Affiliate and those in need of adequate shelter would work side-by-side with volunteers to build simple, decent homes.
How to pledge:
-Call, email, FB message, send smoke signals, or holla’ at you favorite Tampa Roller Derby or Tampa Jr Derby skater to make a pledge. A dollar to $1,000 is greatly appreciated!
-Pledges can be made per lap.
Pledged: $0.10 / lap
Miles skated = 200 laps
Donation $20
-Pledges can be made as a flat donation.
You like a roller girl = $20.
You REALLY like your roller girl = $200!!
-Pledges can be made on Paypal.
